The Saint John airport known as YSJ modernized its operations from 2018 well into 2019 and hired AGCM as its Project Manager for overseeing the work to mill and re-pave all runways, the installation of Centerline LED lighting on major runway 0523, the repainting of all the line markings, the narrowing of runways from 200’ to the industry standard of 150’, the installation of Runway End Safety Areas (RESA), improve drainage, to replace all edge lighting with high-intensity and energy efficient LED lighting and to remove the rock near the airfield to comply with the latest standards for new construction.
