AGCM was hired as Construction Managers for a 25,000 square foot Toyota Dealership located in Bathurst NB. The building consists of main level showroom with dealer offices on the second level in the front of the building and a second level mezzanine area in the rear service area for tire storage and mechanical equipment. The service area is heated utilizing reclaimed oil.
Work for this dealership involved an extensive site work package – new underground infrastructure for parking lot, storm water management, underground site utilities, parking lot lighting etc. The building itself was constructed with standard frost wall foundation, slab on grade with added reinforcement in service area due to loads of equipment and expected traffic. The structure consists of conventional structural steel. Building envelope consists of a combination of Insulated Wall Panels and Aluminum Composite Panels.
